How long will my order take?
Pieces from the shop are made when you order them and leave our workshop in 3 to 5 days. If a coin has to be ordered in, either because you've asked for a particular year or because we're out of that one, allow 7 to 14 days. We'll tell you up front if that's the case and keep you posted.
Engagement ring settings leave our workshop in 1 to 2 weeks.
Custom and bespoke work is usually 2 to 3 weeks from the day you approve the design. Sourcing stones is the longest part of any job and it drives the date.
What is the difference between a polished and an oxidised finish?
Polished is the bright, clean finish. Oxidised darkens the recesses so the lettering and detail on the coin stand out.
In the picture below, the Britannia coin on the left is polished. The Angel coin on the right is oxidised.
What happens if my ring doesn't fit?
We resize it free, up to two sizes. Send it back within 30 days and we'll size it properly and get it back to you. The resize costs you nothing, you just cover the postage. If you're in or near Centurion you're welcome to drop it off and collect.
Ring sizes are hard to get right off a chart, so we'd rather fix it than have you stuck with something you can't wear.
How do I find my ring size?
If you can, go to a jeweller and get measured properly. It takes two minutes and it removes all the guessing.
If that's not practical, measure at home:
- Cut a thin strip of paper
- Wrap it around the base of your finger, below the joint and close to the knuckle. Snug, not tight
- Mark where it overlaps, lay it flat and measure the length in millimetres
- Match that number to the chart below
Fingers swell during the day, so measure in the evening rather than first thing. Do it three times and take the middle number.
Size chart
Measurements are the inside circumference of the ring. We make half sizes as well as whole sizes, so if your measurement lands between two, take the larger one.

Can I return my order?
Ready-made pieces, yes. You have 30 days from the day it arrives, as long as it comes back unworn and in its packaging. Postage back to us is for your account.
Custom and bespoke pieces we can't take back, because they're made to your design and we can't sell them on. That's why we send renders for approval first and keep working on the design until you're happy.

What is your guarantee?
Every piece we make carries a lifetime guarantee on the workmanship. If something we made fails, send it back and we'll fix it. No time limit, no charge.
It doesn't cover accidental stone loss or damage from knocks, wear or accidents. Send us a photo on WhatsApp if that happens and we'll quote you for the repair. It's usually less than people expect.
Can I pick a date for the coin?
Sometimes. Contact us first to check availability, because some years are scarce and we don't always have them. If we can get it, allow 7 to 14 days.
What condition are the coins in?
Our coin jewellery is made by hand from circulated coins, so normal wear and small imperfections come with them. That's the character of these pieces rather than a fault, and it means no two are quite the same.
Can you make a ring from my own coin?
Usually, yes. The one thing to check is that it's an older coin. Modern coins are made in layers and come apart when they're formed.

Do you ship internationally?
Yes. International orders go with FedEx and you'll get a tracking number as soon as it ships.
Please check your own country's import rules. Customs may hold a parcel for a while and any duties or fees are for your account. We include the paperwork where it's easiest for them to find.
