A bar of Seymchan meteorite in a slim sterling silver frame, open front and back so the pattern shows on both sides. A 9ct yellow gold band caps the top and carries the loop, and a narrow gold band crosses the bar a third of the way down.
Seymchan was found in 1967 in the dry bed of the Hekandue River, in the Magadan district of Russia. Cut and etched, it shows the Widmanstätten pattern, a lattice that only forms when molten iron cools over millions of years, which is why it cannot be made on Earth.
We fit and close each piece by hand. Every bar is cut from a different part of the meteorite, so yours will not look exactly like the pictures.
The tag is 13mm wide and 37mm tall, including the loop, and comes on a 2mm sterling silver box chain in 45 or 50cm. Made to order and ready in one to two weeks.
