A teardrop of Seymchan meteorite, set flush in sterling silver or 9ct yellow, rose or white gold, and hung on a fine chain in the same metal: an anchor chain in silver and yellow gold, a curb chain in rose and white gold.
Seymchan was found in 1967 in the dry bed of the Hekandue River, in the Magadan district of Russia. Cut and etched, it shows the Widmanstätten pattern, a lattice that only forms when molten iron cools over millions of years, which is why it cannot be made on Earth.
We cut each teardrop from the slice ourselves and close the metal over its edge by hand, so it sits flush and stays put. Every one comes from a different part of the slice, so yours will not look exactly like the pictures.
The pendant is 12mm wide and 25mm tall, including the loop. Silver comes on a 45, 50 or 55cm chain, yellow and rose gold on 46 or 51cm, and white gold on 46cm. Made to order and ready in one to two weeks.
