A pair of studs set with Muonionalusta meteorite, in sterling silver or 9ct yellow gold. Each one is an 8mm square of the meteorite, cut and etched to show its crosshatch pattern, and set flush in a thin bezel.
Muonionalusta is one of the oldest meteorites known, about 4.5 billion years old. It was found in 1906 near the Muonio River in the north of Sweden. The Widmanstätten pattern only grows when molten iron cools over millions of years, so it cannot be made on Earth.
We cut both pieces from the same slice and close the metal over each edge by hand, so they sit flush and stay put. No two pairs are the same, so yours will not look exactly like the pictures.
